Our History
The School Sport Foundation (SSF) was established in 2015 in Brussels, Belgium, with the International School Sport Federation (ISF) as its founder. Led by the president of ISF, Laurent Petrynka, SSF embarked on numerous charitable projects across Latin America, Africa, and India during his tenure.
In March 2024, SSF underwent significant leadership changes. Roman Greba, an eminent sports activist, member of the ISF Executive Committee and a chair of ISF Legal and Ethics Committee, assumed the presidency of SSF.
The modernization of SSF aimed to align its goals with the evolving needs of the world, particularly in terms of youth development through sports.
